Friends of the Penryn Library (FOPL)

The new Friends of the Penryn Library (FOPL) was formed at our first meeting in April, 2008. FOPL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the IRS and for the State of California (TIN# 30-0491561).

In the Library, the Friends of the Penryn Library have a special designated bookcase, loaded with some great books that can be purchased with a small donation. New books are added periodically so check it out often!  If you wish to become a member, there is a one-time fee of $5.00.

Loss of Funding!

Raley's is changing the vision for their Extra Credit program. 
As of July 1, 2017, they will only fund education grants that support programs which foster wellness for schools and youth.

As a result, FOPL will no longer receive a quarterly donation based on your Extra Credit designation!

The county library system needs $1.3 million in increased funding in its upcoming budget.
