FOPL Bookfair Dec 14th-19th!

THANKS to all who purchased items at the Barnes & Noble store & online!!!
The Friends had lots of fun wrapping on 12/19/13 at the store and greatly appreciate the generous donations for our gift wrapping!
And thanks to Barnes & Noble for letting us participate in their Bookfair program!  Results should be available for our January meeting.

from Dec 14th through 19th and a percentage of

your purchases will be donated to FOPL.

Pick up a voucher at the Penryn Library or simply use

ID 11258738 when you check out either at the store or online.

The Penryn Friends will also be gift wrapping at the store

on Dec 19th, from Noon to 8:00pm.  Donations will be appreciated.

Penryn Artist donates to Silent Auction

Thanks to Robin for her donation!  The auction closed on December 16th, just in time for Christmas!

Robin King, local Penryn artist,  has generously donated an original painting, "Penryn Persimmon" to the Friends of the Penryn Library. The painting is available for purchase by silent auction to benefit the Library.  The art is on display at the Penryn Library, 2215 Rippey Rd, Penryn. The silent auction will end on December 16, 2013. 

Raley's Extra Credit- instructions

You can help the Friends of the Penryn Library (FOPL)!

You can now help FOPL (and the Penryn Library) by shopping at Raley’s and Bel Air.  A percentage of your shopping total will be donated to FOPL after you designate FOPL as your Extra Credit non-profit. This will  NOT affect your own personal awards from Raley’s.  You will still get them!

If you already have a “Something Extra” card or number and have already created a password for Raley’s, then start on Section B.

Section A

1.      Start your web browser and go to www.raleys.com/extracredit.  Click the ‘Start Here’ green button on the right side of the page.

2.      Enter your email address and your password. Click the green ‘Next’ button.

3.      You will see the question “Already have a Something Extra card or number?”  Click ‘Yes’ if you have a card number but have never logged in before. Click ‘No’ if you do not have a number.

4.      The next step is to create a 10-digit Loyalty Number (hint, your phone number).

5.      Now follow the “Tell us about yourself” set of web pages.  Continue to Section B.

Section B

Now you need to associate your Extra Credit Program

with the Friends of the Penryn Library(FOPL). 

1.      Go to www.raleys.com/extracredit.

2.      Enter your email and password and click the orange ‘Sign In’ button.

3.      On the right side of the web page, click ‘Manage your Account” link.

4.      Click the “Extra Credit” link on the right side of the page.

5.      Click the green “Get Started” button.

6.      Click the “Search Organizations” button.  Choose “Friends of the Penryn Library” by clicking it.  You may have to make it show up.  In the box above the list of organizations is a place to enter the 95663 zip code.  Enter it there and click the “Select Your Organization” button again. “Friends of the Penryn Library” will now appear.  Click it.

7.      Under the “Manage Your Organizations” heading, you can adjust the percentage you want to go to FOPL.  Click the green “Save Your Selections” button.  You are done!  Thank you!
